As part of the Philharmonic "Portrait" series for Wolfgang Rihm, the Alinde Quartet performs his "Concerto" for string quartet and orchestra. Joined by the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, the program also features Bartók’s "Pictures from Hungary" and Beethoven’s energetic 2nd Symphony, conducted by Duncan Ward.
