Mission

Honoring the memory of the original child performers of "Brundibár" in the Theresienstadt concentration camp and educate new generations on resilience through art. By staging the opera, students engage with history and explore the role of performance in resistance and remembrance.

Students from Wülfrath Gymnasium staged "Brundibár" across multiple locations, including sites of historical significance. The project combined performance with education, allowing participants to reflect on the opera’s original context and its symbolic message. By connecting past and present, students developed a deeper appreciation of cultural memory and artistic defiance.
