NOACK KONZERT: Christmas Gala with Veritá Baroque

  • Bildgießerei Hermann Noack 9 Am Spreebord Berlin, BE, 10589 Germany (map)

About the event

Since its beginning in December 2022, the Christmas Gala at NOACK with Verità Baroque has become a moment of shared celebration and reflection. Each year, this gathering brings together musicians and listeners in the spirit of the season — through music that bridges centuries and speaks to our common sense of wonder.

The young musicians of Verità Baroque come from around the world, united by a deep curiosity for sound and a love for making music together. Their approach combines the sensitivity of historical performance with the freshness of new works written especially for them — keeping the Baroque spirit alive in the present day.

“It is an honor for Verità Baroque to continue this tradition and return to Berlin with our Christmas Gala Concert,” says Taya König-Tarasevich, co-founder and Artistic Director of the ensemble. “This program radiates the anticipation and magic of the season. Alongside Vivaldi’s Winter, where snow and silence become tangible through sound, we also perform Starfish Rebellion, a work dedicated to Verità. When Verità performs a piece composed for us, the room fills with a unique electricity: the charged silence before the first bravos is what makes every performance unforgettable.”

Presented as part of the NOACK Concert Series in collaboration with NOACK Bildgießerei & Gallery and the Althafen Foundation.
