For Mabelle Young-Eun Park, music is a form of communication that brings together discipline, sensitivity, and emotional depth. She approaches performance as a shared experience between musicians and audiences, one in which technical precision and emotional presence work hand in hand. At the heart of her artistry is a fascination with the balance between structure and spontaneity, respecting the detail of classical training while allowing performances to remain alive, responsive, and deeply human.

This approach has shaped a career spanning solo, chamber, and orchestral performance. In 2025, Mabelle was awarded First Prize in the Strings Section of the Royal Over-Seas League Annual Music Competition, together with the Prince’s Prize and the Prudi Hoggarth Audience Award. Her performances have taken her to venues including Wigmore Hall, the Royal Festival Hall, the Barbican Centre, Carnegie Hall, and the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, as well as festivals including IMS Prussia Cove, Aldeburgh, and Aspen.

Collaboration occupies a central place in her musical life. Whether performing with orchestras, working alongside distinguished chamber musicians, or leading her own projects, she is drawn to the creative possibilities that emerge through listening and shared interpretation. This spirit is reflected in her role as a founding member and first violinist of the Astra Quartet and the Regency String Quartet (2021-2026), a 2025/26 Kickman Concert Society ensemble, and in collaborations with artists including Anthony Marwood, Guy Johnston, Bruno Delepelaire, and Alasdair Beatson.

Mabelle recently completed her Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music as a Sue Balston Scholar under the guidance of Radu Blidar. She previously earned her Bachelor of Music and Master of Arts degrees from the Royal Academy of Music, graduating with distinction and a DipRAM. She continues to explore how technical control can serve expressive freedom, seeking interpretations that feel both thoughtful and natural. Across all aspects of her work, she strives to create performances that foster genuine connection while remaining open to discovery, dialogue, and new artistic perspectives.
