Philipp Nedel is a distinguished German Tonmeister, arranger, and producer specializing in classical music. He studied at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris. During his studies, he began freelancing with Teldec Classics International in Berlin, collaborating with renowned orchestras such as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic.

In 2000, he joined Soundmirror in Boston as a producer/engineer before returning to Berlin to establish b-sharp, where he serves as managing director and continues to work with internationally acclaimed artists and orchestras. Nedel's expertise has earned him two Grammy Awards for Best Small Ensemble Performance: in 2002 for "After Mozart" with Gidon Kremer and the Kremerata Baltica, and in 2008 for "Stravinsky: Apollo, Concerto in D; Prokofiev: 20 Visions Fugitives" with Yuri Bashmet and the Moscow Soloists.
