An international chamber music residency bringing together exceptional young string players from across Europe and Israel. Hosted jointly by the Jerusalem Music Centre, Althafen Foundation, and Landesakademie Ochsenhausen, the program combines high-level musical training with cross-cultural exchange and career development. A concert series launched in 2024 in collaboration with NOACK Bildgiesserei & Galerie, marking the 125th anniversary of Hermann Noack’s enduring cultural legacy. October 17, 2024

On October 17th, 2024, we presented a sold-out benefit concert at the Berliner Philharmonie, reserving a section of the hall for underprivileged communities in Berlin to share in the celebration. Artistic Director Mark Prihodko performed César Franck’s Sonata with pianist Ben Kim, followed by Schubert’s Cello Quintet with the Alinde Quartett—one of the foundation’s first accelerated projects.

Summer Arts Lounge

Launched on June 7th, 2024, the Summer Arts Lounge unfolded over three vibrant months of open-air gatherings, bringing together artists, musicians, and thinkers for intimate performances and spontaneous exchange. Set in a relaxed outdoor setting, it invited audiences to engage with art in a playful, conversational atmosphere outside of the regular concert season.
