About the event
We thought: why have one gala when we can have two?
The Althafen Foundation and NOACK Bildgießerei warmly invite you to our Christmas Gala: two unique evenings of music-making with 20 of the world's finest young artists, gathered in the remarkable setting of a legendary Berlin arts foundry. A tradition since 2022, this year's Gala brings together the artists of the Althafen Foundation's Talent Studio, for a joyful celebration music, talent, and the pleasure of being together.
The first evening belongs to the piano. Seven pianists share one instrument and one room in the spirit of the classic salon: solo works by Schumann, Schubert, Ravel and Scriabin sit alongside music for four, six and even eight hands on a single keyboard, closing with Lavignac's exuberant Galop-marche. Intimate, playful and full of surprises, it is the perfect way to begin the weekend.
Stay afterwards for a glass of wine and the chance to meet the artists. We hope you'll join us for one or both evenings.
